This series of hand embroidered, tinsel adorned screen-prints ruminate on an experience of longing through the space of the phone. The imagery is hyperbolic and metaphoric; emotional and satirical. I amalgamate emotive performance, personal archives, and pop imagery surrounding tech to create meditative and cerebral landscapes for viewers to explore, reflect upon, and project into.
These prints navigate the human experience as both manufactured (terrifying) and alterable (hopeful).
They are cries for connection and prayers to the screen.
